At Barrie Montessori, the child is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy, we nurture each child’s natural curiosity and love of learning in a warm, supportive environment.
We offer authentic Montessori education alongside the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum for children aged 18 months through Grade 8. Our programs include Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten (JK/SK), and Elementary.
Our thoughtfully prepared classrooms are large, bright, and filled with natural sunlight, creating an inviting atmosphere for learning. Equipped with high-quality Montessori materials, they encourage hands-on exploration, independent thinking, and discovery. Children work at their own pace, guided by experienced educators, and benefit from collaborative learning in a multi-age setting.
Recognizing that every child learns differently, our approach supports a variety of learning styles. Students are free to revisit activities for mastery and engage deeply with subjects that capture their interest.
